How To Root Galaxy Y

Follow these Steps to root Galaxy Y S5360:

Step 1: Download the Samsung Root Galaxy Y package from here: Root Galaxy Y package

Step 2:  After, you downloaded this package just unzip that folder and transfer all their content to the root of your SD card.

Step 3: When you done with above two steps just turn off your phone and restart it in Recover mode. To enter in Recovery mode you have to Hold Volume Up, Home Key and Power Button simultaneously for 20 Seconds.

Ohh… i forgot to tell you one thing in Recovery Mode Volume Up and Down button is used for Navigation and Home key to select option.

Step 4: Now, when you are in Recovery Mode select “Update from SD card” now select that Unzip folder which we set in root SD in Step 2.

Step 5:  Select “Reboot System” after you finished step 4 successfully and Wait till your phone Reboot.

Step 6: Voila!! You have successfully Root Galaxy Y S5360.

Step 7: Now visit Google Play (Android Market) and Download BusyBox for your Rooted Galaxy Y
